As part of Junior Graphic Design Spring 2024, we developed an editorial system to begin to define a design identity, to develop an awareness of past and present practice, to present complex information clearly and legibly, to practice developing type and image systems, to develop a visual and editorial narrative over a sequence of pages, and to refine type and image layout skills.
Weaving together a cohesive visual and editorial narrative across over 100 pages, this project was the first time I sat down to reflect deeply—writing about my upbringing and education, collecting old projects, my creative process, and evolving interests. The Things That Bring People Together is a documentation of my artist journey through my three passions: community, sports, and fashion.
